Elders (or pastors) are biblically qualified men who oversee the local church, particularly through teaching God’s Word, praying, caring for church members, and training members to do the work of ministry. These are the men our congregation has recognized as elders.

Elder
Mike grew up in Herndon, Va and graduated from Oakton High School. Mike came to faith as a high school student on the way back from a summer fishing trip with his Youth Pastor. Mike met his wife Anna while attending Washington Bible College and they married in 2000. Mike and Anna have two boys, Jackson and Elliot. After 20 years in the residential construction industry, Mike finished his Bible College degree and entered full time ministry in 2015. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, fishing, hunting and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Mike has a passion to see people fall in love with Jesus and live their lives to make much of Him (Know Jesus and make Him known).
Elder
Ted has enjoyed thirty years of pastoral ministry in three churches from Pennsylvania to Virginia. His passions are teaching the Word, mentoring men, counseling, and hospitality evangelism.
While in college,Ted was saved and transformed by the good news of Christ. After graduation, he worked in communications and insurance for ten years before pursuing his MDiv. from Westminster Seminary in Escondido, CA. Ted and Genean have been married 41 years and have three adult daughters and one grandchild, with more coming!
Elder
Dale “Hutch” Hutchinson’s roots are in Western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) and Northern Ohio where he graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in Ohio in 1977. He spent over eight years in the United States Air Force where earned his bachelors degree part time. After getting out of the military, he settled down in Northern Virginia where he met his wife, Nancy, while employed at the Central Intelligence Agency and were married in 1995. Hutch and Nancy have a passion for sharing the Gospel and for the Care of others. They both also have experience with counseling others. They have three adult children together, one daughter (Vanessa) and two boys (Matthew and Brent). Hutch currently works at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Hutch and Nancy enjoy traveling, hiking and taking drives in their Jeep.
